Each piece undergoes a precise cycle designed to protect your patients, staff, and bottom line.

So, what does that journey actually look like? Let’s take a look behind the scenes — from pickup to delivery.

 

Pickup

Our trained drivers collect soiled linen bags in blue bins to prevent cross-contamination. When they deliver your clean linens, they also pick up the soiled ones, keeping clean and dirty items separate. Once back at our plant, each load is weighed and logged to begin its next cleaning cycle. 

 

Soil Sorting & Inspection

Wearing protective gowns and gloves, our team sorts each item by type and wash process. Any items damaged or excessively stained are removed from circulation. Our overhead rail system efficiently moves the sorted linens to the correct staging area, keeping the process organized.

 

Washing

Most linens are cleaned in Continuous Batch Washers, or CBWs, using precise temperatures and eco-friendly detergents that meet or exceed healthcare hygiene standards. Specialty items are processed separately in smaller washers for extra care.

 

Drying & Pressing

Linens move automatically through large-capacity dryers, then into our ironers and automated folders. Items are pressed, folded, and bundled for consistency, with final quality control checks before packaging. Speciality items and customer-owned goods travel through our facilities under careful supervision. 

 

Delivery

Your clean linens are loaded onto Crown trucks and delivered on schedule, ready for use at your facility.
