Safety/DOT Manager
Crown Health Care Laundry Services is the industry leader in the Southeast United States. Due to tremendous growth we are adding a Safety/DOT Manager to work out of our Pensacola, Florida facility and service our operations in Georgia, Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. The Safety/DOT Manager will provide leadership and work collaboratively with the plants in the areas of safety, DOT and workers compensation. We are seeking an energetic and well versed professional who has a track record of success in these areas.
The manager will, for all locations, develop policies and procedures, conduct safety audits, develop and conduct safety training, investigate incidents, and maintain appropriate records. The ideal candidate will take the lead in preventing and managing workers compensation claims as well as ensuring that all DOT processes and records are in compliance with federal regulations. Quarterly travel to all locations is required, as well as occasional conference travel.
Preferred candidates will have at least 3 relevant years experience in an industrial facility, with extensive experience managing a comprehensive safety program. Experience with workers compensation is strongly desired. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
